  • Beijing Lecome Law Firm Participates in the 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference

    The 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC), themed "Intellectual Property in the Digital Age," was successfully held at the China National Convention Center Phase II in Beijing on September 11-12, 2025. Mr. Shen Changyu, Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), Mr. Li Zhongjun, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province, and Mr. Grigory Ivliev, President of the Eurasian Patent Office, attended and addressed the opening ceremony. Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), sent a congratulatory letter to the conference. The event attracted over 8,000 participants, including the Head of the WIPO China Office, leaders from relevant departments of CNIPA, heads of intellectual property administrative departments from various provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, representatives from foreign embassies and consulates in China and international organizations, as well as representatives from domestic and international enterprises and intellectual property service agencies.This year's conference featured one main forum and twelve parallel sub-forums. Participants engaged in exchanges focusing on hot topics in intellectual property, while also having the opportunity to visit and experience AI digital interactions and participate in patent, trademark, and geographical indication matching activities. During the event, she exchanged views with several foreign law firms on topics including international IP protection, cross-border IP dispute resolution, and corporate IP strategy management. She also shared insights on the potential IP risks Chinese enterprises might face when "going global" under the current international landscape. Ms. Song actively participated in multiple sub-forums, listening to and learning from the typical cases shared by speakers.
